Asian Daikon and Red Radish Salad

This is a little salad I like to serve with sushi rolls and nigiri sushi.

  • 4.5 ounces daikon radish,  thinly sliced 
  • 8 to 10 red radishes, thinly sliced 
  • 2 scallions, sliced
  • 1.5 ounces fresh shredded ginger root 
  • 2 tablespoons Splenda granular (or sugar)
  • 1/2 cup rice vinegar 
  • 1/2 teaspoon wasabi paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Toasted sesame seeds (to garnish)


  1. Toss together ingredients and serve.
